2 step Pound Cake per cindy

  • 4 cups all purpose flour
    3 cups sugar
    1 pound butter, softened
    3/4 cup milk
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. vanillaPlace flour, sugar, butter, milk, eggs and vanilla (in that order) in 4 qt. bowl  Beat at low speed for 1 minute.  Scrape down sides, beat on medium for 2 minutes.
    Pour into greased and floured 10″ tube pan.
    Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour & 30 minutes or until done.  Cool in pan 10 minutes  Remove from pan, cool completely on wire rack.
